Adham Nadim has been the Executive Director of the Industrial Modernization Center (IMC) since 2006 appointed with a mission to create an enabling Environment in which the private sector can lead growth and make Egyptian Industry leapfrog into global competitiveness, serving over 12,000 factories of all sectors of industry.

Nadim comes to IMC from the private sector where as an entrepreneur has spent over two decades in various capacities managing NADIM Industries, his family furniture business. Nadim became Chairman of the 1000 employee company in 1999.

 

Nadim has been an active member at the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) assuming various positions over the years including Vice Chairman of the Woodworking Chamber; He is currently Chairman of the International Affairs Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Industrial Law Committee and Deputy Chairman of Industrial Modernization Committee at FEI .

Nadim is actively involved in numerous civil society organizations. He is treasurer and sector head for Furniture and Building Materials of the Egyptian Exports Association. In 2003 he created "FURNEX" the Egyptian International Furniture Fair. He also previously served as Chairman of the Furniture Export Council.

Nadim is a member of the Executive Committee for the Egyptian French Presidential Council as well as the Cultural Council of the Union for the Mediterranean. He also represents FEI in Business Med.

Nadim sits on several boards such as the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC), the National Quality Institute, the Industrial Training Council (ITC), the Energy Saving Council for Industry, and the REACH Committee.

Nadim graduated with a degree in Islamic Art and Architecture from the American University in Cairo (AUC) in 1986. 

Born in Cairo, Egypt in 1964, he is married and has a daughter.
